Education:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry or physics OR a
bachelor’s degree in a closely related biological or physical science
from an accredited college or university. Three (3) years of acceptable
work experience may be substituted for each year of an academic
degree program (i.e., Twelve years of experience is equivalent to a

The Certified Industrial Hygiene Technician course is designed for entry level industrial hygienists and technicians who are new to the field and want to gain fundamental knowledge. Recent graduates with backgrounds in occupational health, environmental science, or engineering will also benefit from this course, as well as professionals transitioning into industrial hygiene from other fields.
Safety and health professionals such as HSE officers, HSE engineers, safety supervisors, safety managers, occupational health and safety professionals, and environmental health specialists who want to expand their knowledge in industrial hygiene are also suitable for this course.
